Why:
The vision of Starting Point Church is to plant 30 churches in the Triangle area in the next 15 years. We are going to do this by planting outposts of the gospel all around this area that carry out the mission of our church: REACHING people with the love of Jesus, TRAINING them to follow Him, and SENDING them out to REACH others.
There are roughly 385,000 people living in the city of Raleigh. Roughly 308,000 of those people don’t go to church anywhere! Statistically 80% of the people in the Triangle area don’t go to any sort of religious service, let alone a Bible teaching church. This haunting statistic doesn’t pertain to Raleigh alone. The numbers are just as disturbing in the Apex area.
This 5-mile radius reaches outside of Apex into both Holly Springs and Cary. There are 125,000 people in this target area:
This is one of the main reasons we have decided to plant our 2nd church in Apex. Outside of the surrounding area of the theater, our greatest population of people that go to Starting Point Church drive from the Apex/Holly Springs area.
